Regional Business Development Manager (BENELUX)

We are seeking a Regional Business Development Lead to spearhead our growth strategy and establish Intelligent Data Collection as a trusted name in the Netherlands and the broader BENELUX region. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape our presence in new markets while driving meaningful impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to secure new clients and partnerships across the BENELUX region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, transportation authorities, urban planners, and infrastructure developers.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within transportation and infrastructure sectors.
  • Represent Intelligent Data Collection at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.


This full-time position is remote and requires occasional travel within the BENELUX region and to our UK headquarters.


Your Profile:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in business development and senior management roles within dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and customer-focused, ready to drive our expansion efforts while aligning with long-term EU growth plans.


Qualifications:

  • Proven professional experience in the transportation, infrastructure, or urban planning sectors is preferred, particularly working with municipalities/gemeenten, Rijkswaterstaat, engineering firms, transport modeling, or infrastructure consultancies.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or account management roles.
  • Strong familiarity with BENELUX market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written); additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to present complex solutions effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and craft innovative strategies.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.


What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to €80,000 per annum plus an 8% holiday allowance paid monthly.
  • Company car allowance, mobile phone, laptop, and full pension contribution.
  • Uncapped profit share linked to performance outcomes in the Netherlands.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus national holidays, with an option to purchase up to 10 additional days through our 'Buy Holiday Back' scheme.
